We have planted over 1,200 native trees in Peat Rigg and we continue to plant more every year.

We love trees at Peat Rigg. They make us feel good but they are also great for the environment.

Trees help local wildlife, providing homes for insects and birds, and shelter for small rodents. They also help the wider environment. They absorb water which helps prevent flooding further down stream from us. Even better, they fight climate change by soaking up carbon from the atmosphere.

We have a huge variety of trees on site, with over 25 different varieties of native tree, including Beech, Birch, Crab Apple, Dogwood, Elder, Hazel, Goat Willow, Oak, Rowan and Scot's Pine.
