As a charity dedicated to supporting youth development, it provides outstanding outdoor activities designed to boost confidence, teamwork, and resilience. Set within 97 acres of beautiful private farmland, the centre creates a safe and welcoming environment where participants can connect with nature while enjoying high-quality instruction and unforgettable experiences.

Adventurous Activities

The centre offers an exciting and diverse programme of adventurous activities designed to challenge and inspire every participant. From the exhilaration of beck scrambling through flowing water and rocky terrain to the teamwork and coordination required in canoeing, each experience brings its own unique rewards. Participants can push their limits with abseiling, build endurance and confidence through mountain biking, and develop focus and precision in archery. For those seeking something truly immersive, caving and bushcraft provide opportunities to explore, survive, and connect with the natural environment in new ways. Alongside these, a variety of team challenges encourage communication, leadership, and cooperation in a supportive setting. Each activity is carefully structured to promote confidence, resilience, and problem-solving skills, while also fostering independence and a strong sense of achievement, contributing to the overall personal development of every young person involved.

Environmental Activites

Alongside the adventurous activities, participants have the opportunity to deepen their understanding of the natural world through a variety of meaningful and hands-on environmental projects. These include creating and maintaining wildflower meadows to support pollinators, developing habitats for local wildlife, planting hedgerows to encourage biodiversity, and taking part in forest and land management practices that help protect and sustain the landscape. Through these experiences, young people gain practical conservation skills and a greater appreciation for the environment, while also understanding the importance of sustainability. This work not only enriches their learning but also contributes to a lasting environmental legacy, helping to preserve and enhance the natural surroundings for future generations to enjoy.
